Located on the site of Australian master chef Tetsuya Wakuda's famous three-hatted Rozelle eatery, The Local Bar pays homage to its illustrious forebearer with a menu inspired by Japanese-Australian cuisine. Think fried lotus root with aosa salt, salt and pepper crocodile and cucumber salad with red radish and shiso kombu to name just a few.
Our raison d'etre is in our name, The Local Bar. Locals are at the heart of everything we do. From local performers belting out tunes on a Sunday afternoon to sitting down and having a chat with a next-door neighbour, there are no strangers here only friends you haven't yet met.
